We have a diverse population with many strengths in Onondaga County. Let's create more opportunities to establish connections. It's my aim to support mental health in the community, shining a spotlight on existing programs and realizing opportunities to develop them further.
Build on What We Have
Before we invite another Destiny or aquarium disaster to the county, let's get one thing straight. Onondaga County is not a tourist destination. This is OUR HOME, and that's why we need to improve it for the people who currently live, work and play here. We need to repurpose existing structures and improve old ones to
create spaces for safe living, recreation and commerce.
Build Opportunity
Let's create more jobs that will make people want to stay in Central New York. It is my goal to ensure we are encouraging the establishment and growth of companies that match our current residents' skill sets and needs, and to find more ways to provide no- or low-cost childcare for parents wanting to return to work.
